Usher made a splash as he graced the cover of Essence magazine.

The R&B artist, 45, displayed his abs as he soaked in an ice blue bath for the publication's Men's Issue.

His hand gently rested on his forehead as he shot the camera a steamy look, one leg visible as he lifted it out of the water.

The sexy cover is only available to subscribers of the publication, but fans were able to drool over it as both the artist and magazine posted it online.

Usher - who recently married longtime girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea - opened up about his life as a family man and headlining his very own residency in Las Vegas.

Usher opened up about his life as a family man and headlining his very own residency in Las Vegas.

The Yeah! singer has four children - sons Usher 'Cinco' Raymond V, 16, and Naviyd, 15, with his ex-wife Tameka Foster, and daughter Sovereign, three, and son Sire, two, with his wife Jennifer.

When the accomplished musician isn't hitting the stage, he's at home, changing diapers and helping his children with homework.

'I’m cooking breakfast for my babies; I’m changing diapers; I’m reading at bedtime,' he explained.

'"Seven o’clock on the dot" has obviously changed into something other than the drop top,' he said jokingly.

'For my older boys, I try to help them understand their homework. I don’t get it as much, and I think that is hard for me, honestly. But I do take the time to make them, and make it, a priority, and I do try to understand.'

He also prioritizes spending quality, one-on-one time with his children.

'Sovereign has her time, Sire has his time, Naviyd has his time. And Usher—' he says before quickly correcting himself. 'Cinco! He doesn’t like to be called Usher. Sometimes he wants his own identity. So Cinco, he has his own time. And they all like different things.'

Since 2021, Usher has been delighting Las Vegas with his own residency.

He kicked off his shows at Caesars Palace before moving to the Park MGM.

'This was about offering people something that was new: a Black audience that did not exist in Las Vegas,' he explained, 'and the Black dollar that did not exist in Las Vegas, where casino owners didn’t know there was that person who had that extra $2,000 or $3,000 to spend.'

For Usher, the residency evolved into more than just a concert.

'Furthermore,' he added, 'I was really blown away when I arrived that there wasn’t a union for minorities. So I was like, Oh s**t. This is actually serving more than just the legacy play and celebrating my catalog.

'It’s creating an industry for people who don’t have as much power in this city. So I’m selling the culture that comes from our true background. Every time you see me on stage, you see our Black culture.

'You see HBCU culture at the Super Bowl. You see skating. You see Atlanta culture. I bring that to the forefront, where that becomes a priority. That is the attraction. But that did not exist in Las Vegas before I was brought there, before my residency.'
